Dr. Alan Justice is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. After graduating from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1988, he completed his residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Born in Macon, Georgia, he received his undergraduate degree at Mercer University after graduating from Southwest High School.
Since establishing Ocmulgee Physicians in 1991, Dr. Justice has been providing exceptional care to his patients. He serves as a board member for Central Georgia Health Network, as well as Georgia Physicians for Accountable Care. Dr. Justice is involved in the Middle Georgia community, and periodically appears on a local morning talk show answering medical questions for the public.
Dr. Justice and his wife, Denise, have three children; Landon, Jordan, and Lindsey. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting and fishing. His greatest enjoyment comes from spending time with his granddaughter, Kaylee.
Tina joined Ocmulgee Physicians in 2009 as a Nurse Practitioner after graduating from Georgia College and State University with a Master of Science in Nursing.
Tina worked as a nurse at The Children’s Hospital for 18 years after graduating from Georgia College and State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She served as a charge nurse and preceptor to new nurses. She taught several courses including Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course. She was a member of the pediatric transport team that went to outlying hospitals to pick up critically ill children.
Tina graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 1985. She covered high school and professional sports for two years for The Macon Telegraph.
Tina has three children:
Leyna has a Bachelor Degree in History, Technology and Society from Georgia Tech, a Master of Science in Social Work from Georgia State University, and is a second-year law student at Georgia State. Leyna is a graduate of Westside High School in Macon.
James is a second-class petty officer in the United States Navy and is currently working at the US Naval Consolidated Brig Charleston teaching welding to prisoners. He is married to the former Christie Rasch and has one child. Tina’s grandson, called “Sweet Baby James” at the moment, was born in 2013 and is her heart. James graduated from Hutchings High School in Macon.
Cary is about to graduate from Central Georgia Tech as a paralegal. He is very active in the live-action-role-play community in Middle Georgia. Cary graduated from Hutchings High School in Macon.
Tina enjoys traveling (especially to the beach). She also enjoys cooking, baking, knitting, and spending time with her children and grandchild.
Lori joined Ocmulgee Physicians in 2017 after graduating from Georgia College and State University with a Master of Science in Nursing.
Lori worked as a pediatric nurse at The Children’s Hospital for 18 years after graduating from Georgia College and State University in 1999 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She served in leadership and was a mentor to new nurses. She taught pediatric clinicals to nursing students throughout her years as a pediatric nurse.
Lori and her husband, Stan, have been married for 17 years and have three children. Anna is a sophomore in high school, Austin is in 8th grade, and Ava is in 1st grade.
Stephanie joined Ocmulgee Physicians in July 2017 as a Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She previously worked as a FNP here in the Macon area at Central Georgia Infectious Disease and Macon Occupational Medicine.
Prior to her move to Macon, GA in the Winter of 2016, she had lived in Augusta, GA for 8 years after graduating from Georgia Southern University with her BSN. She worked as a RN at University Hospital on their cardiovascular unit and floors for 4 years. She then went on to work as Employee Health and Infection Control Nurse with Walton Rehabilitation Hospital, now HealthSouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in Augusta, GA. After graduating from University of South Carolina with her MSN/FNP degree, she joined Urgent MD and was there for 1 year before making the move to Macon to be closer to family. Stephanie has a husband Dustin and a new baby on the way.
She enjoys traveling—she went to England this past March which was her first overseas trip! She also enjoys reading, biking, and spending time with her husband and family.
